Moses prostrated himself and kissed Yisro: Moses embodied Divine wisdom, whereas Yisro embodied natural, worldly wisdom. By bowing down to Yisro, Moses elevated natural wisdom and accepted it into the sphere of Divine wisdom. This, as we have seen, was a prerequisite to the Giving of the Torah.

  • Evaluated impacts on terrestrial ecosystems, terrain stability, soil factors, hydrology, toxicology, distribution and abundance of organisms, and public health.
  • Expert testimony, briefings to Cabinet Ministers, mass media reports.

1980 to present

Over 100 articles, books, and reports on matters of science and/or faith. Articles about or by me have appeared in the Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, Toronto Life, Jewish Press, Canadian Jewish News, Exodus Magazine, Beis Moshiach Magazine, and Chabad.org ,  among others.

Educator

1977 to present

  • Courses and programs for Public Libraries, Private Schools, Public School Boards, Collegiates, University of Toronto, Jewish outreach organizations.
  • Developed one of the first and largest remedial education departments within Toronto’s Jewish Day Schools.
  • Founded and directed Toronto’s Jewish Discovery Center, a free community service, teaching hundreds of adults introductory Hebrew and Judaic subjects.
